Abstract

This Act is composed of 10 articles. Title (art. 1). Power to enter on land and execute works (art. 2). Power to call on persons to assist in destruction of locusts (art. 3). Penalty for neglect to assist in destruction of locusts (art. 4). Power to order lands to be ploughed, etc (art. 5). Duty to give information as to swarms and eggs of locusts (art. 6). Duty of sheikhs and omdas on receipt of information (art. 7). People my be required to point out where locusts or eggs are (art. 8). Offences-by what courts triable (art. 9). People Executive Council may confer powers upon any person (art. 10).
