Any discharge of trade effluent into a public sewer shall conform to the conditions and standards for chemical and physical parameters set out in column 2 of the First Schedule whereas any discharge from any sewage works or any discharge other than into a public sewer shall conform to the conditions and standards for chemical and physical parameters set out in column 3 of the First Schedule. Other provisions of these Regulations concern, among other things, conditions for discharge, sampling and monitoring and prescribe offences.
