Abstract

These Regulations lay down limit values (Annex II) for discharge of substances (defined) in the aquatic environment and time limits for the compliance with such values. They also define procedures for the monitoring of discharges (reg. 3 and Annexes). The Regulations apply to waters referred to in the Pollution Caused by Certain Dangerous Substances Discharged into the Aquatic Environment Regulations, with the exception of groundwater.
