Abstract

The present Legislative Decree amends Act No. 150 of 1992 by modifying the penalties to be applied to the offences related to trade in the protected wildlife species mentioned in the Annexes attached to Regulation (EC) No. 338/97. As established by article 3 hereto, new article 3 bis shall be added to Act No. 150 of 1992 in matter of forgery of certificates and import licences. Act No. 150 concerning crimes relevant to the application in Italy of the Convention on the International Trade of Endangered Species of Wild Flora and Fauna, and of the EEC Regulation No. 3626/82, and also making provisions for the trade and keeping of dangerous or harmful animals and reptiles (as amended by Decree-Law of 12 January 1993, No. 2, converted into a law by Act of 13 March 1993, No. 59).
