Abstract In implementation of the provisions laid down in Directive 2002/46/EC, this Legislative Decree lays down rules applicable to food supplements placed on the market as foodstuffs and presented as such. Only the vitamins and minerals mentioned in Annex I shall be used in the manufacture of food supplements. Article 6 concerns labelling. The manufacture and packaging of these products shall be carried out only in establishments authorized by the Ministry of Health, as per article 9. Article 15 lays down administrative sanctions.
