Abstract: The objective of this Legislative Decree is to avoid, prevent and reduce harmful effects of arsenic, cadmium, nickel and polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons on human health and the environment. To this end, it establishes a target value for the concentration of such substances and determines common methods and criteria for assessing those concentrations.
