The provisions shall not apply neither to establishments with fewer than 350 laying hens, nor to establishments rearing breeding laying hens. The Regulations are divided into the following Chapters: (I) Provisions applicable to alternative systems; (II) Provisions applicable to rearing in unenriched cage systems; (III) Provisions applicable to rearing in enriched cages; and (IV) Final provisions.
