Abstract

The present Law lays down provisions relating to the use of plant protection substances in agriculture. Its particular aim is the protection of human life and health, as well as of the environment from harmful effects resulting from the processing, handling and putting into circulation of certain products. To such purpose, producers must ensure compliance with the Act. The text deals with the following issues: sphere of application, definition of terms, user of plant production products, application of pesticides, appliances to ensure plant protection, access to information, inspection, exceptions, penalties, transitional provisions and implementation of EU-directives, The Law consists of 13 articles.
