The present Law enters into force on 25 September 1987.
Abstract

The present Law lays down provisions relating to the implementation of the federal legislation on animal protection. In particular, it sets out in details how the aforementioned Federal Law is to be applied in the Canton of Ticino. The text consists of 13 articles divided into 4 chapters as follows: Principle (I); Organization and competence (II); Various provisions (III); Approval and entry into force (IV).
