Abstract This Law relates to the territorial waters of the Republic of Poland and its maritime administration. Polish territorial waters include inshore sea waters, the offshore zone and the exclusive economic zone where only Polish ships may fish (art. 2). There are detailed provisions relating to the demarcation of these waters and zones. Maritime administration offices are responsible for handling matters within the scope of government administration which relate to utilization of the sea including navigational safety and the protection of the marine environment.
