The Fisheries Minister sets the entry into force date, including the subsidy cessation to be paid out with effect from 1 January 1994.

Abstract

This Law sets regulations on subsidy cessation to commercial fishermen whose activities take place between 1 January 1994 and 31 December 1998.Cessation Subisdy can be granted to applicant fishermen who, at the date of cessaqtion, meet the following criteria: aged between 55-66; have been engaged in commercial fishing for a minimum of 10 years; has been employed at least 2 years on fishing vessels receiving cessation subsidy; and that have ceased all commercial fishing activities.
