The present Law enters into force on 1 May 2012.
Abstract

The present Law enforces, inter alia, the Federal Spatial Information Act of 5 October 2007. In particular, the Law contains provisions on: 1) management of the spatial data information system; 2) geographical names; 3) the public legal restrictions on landownership cadastre; 4) official cadastral survey. The text consists of 52 articles divided into 8 chapters as follows: General provisions (I); Organization (II); Spatial data information system, spatial data, spatial base data (III); Geographical names (IV); Public legal restrictions on landownership (V); Official cadastral survey (VI); Financial regulations (VII); Provisions on data protection, penalties, legal protection and final provision (VIII).
