Abstract The present Law implements the Federal Population and Civil Protection Act of 4 October 2002. In particular, the Law lays down provisions relating to the correct and efficient implementation of the afore-mentioned Federal Act in the Canton Luzern. The Law regulates the protection of the population in case of disasters, emergencies and armed conflicts. Moreover, it establishes the responsibilities of municipalities and Canton and defines the guidance and cooperation with partner organizations.
