Abstract The Hungarian National Hunting Chamber is a self-governing corporate body, representing the interests of professional and amateur hunters and carrying out public duties as well. The Chamber has a national and territorial branches. All persons bearing a hunting licence are members of the Chamber. Violation of rules of the hunting code are an offence. The Minister of Agriculture monitors the legality of the Chamber's operations.
