Abstract Article 31 (1) establishes the procedure for transfer (sale, donation, exchange) of private land plots to foreign states for their diplomatic missions and consular offices. Land owners transferring land plots to a foreign state must obtain prior consent of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Lithuania. The Government shall approve the procedure for the transfer and lease of land plots to foreign states and foreign land in the territory of the Republic of Lithuania for the transfer of ownership of land parcels.
