Abstract Article 16 shall be amended to add the following wording: “Extraction of river sand of border rivers in border zones does not require the allotment of a land plot, and the extraction of sand and gravel mixture can be carried out only with the consent of the authorized body for the management of land borders.” Article 28 shall be amended to add the following wording: “Applicant for subsoil management shall submit to the competent authority application accompanied by the following documentation: (a) full name of the legal entity that holds the right to use subsoil; (b) statement about the actual owners of business entity for extraction of metallic minerals or for exploration of subsoil in accordance with geological agreement; and (c) certificate of other obligatory payment of mandatory fees determined when submitting the application as of the previous 5 days.” Article 43 shall be amended to add the following wording: “The authorized body rejects the application for the expansion of the subsoil plot if the subsoil user has not contributed to the environmental protection fund on the day of submission of the application the foreseen allocations as of the current day.” Full text Armenian Website www.arlis.am References - Legislation Amends Subsoil Code (Law No. HO-280-N).
