Abstract This Law sets forth the rules and procedures on the establishment, functions, management and duties of agricultural producers associations. The Law also sets forth the rules and procedures on the control and audit of these associations. The associations may be established based on any plant, animal or aquatic products. The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs determines by a regulation for which agricultural product an association is needed according to the needs and priorities in the agricultural sector. The Law also covers provisions on terms of membership, dues, cancellation of membership and the organs, income and expenditures of the associations.
