Abstract

This Law lays down some amendments and addenda to the Law of Forests. In particular, the present Law establishes requirements for building in forests. Identifying the part of the forest or forest land as the building site is possible only in the spatial planning documents (supplemented art. 3a). These provisions shall not apply to the construction of forest infrastructure. The present Law also amends provisions concerning programme of development of the forests of Slovenia. The National Forest Programme shall be determined by national policy of sustainable and multifunctional forest management guidelines for the conservation and development of forests. It also includes guidelines for the sustainable management of wild animals and for maintainance and improvement of their living conditions.
