Abstract Article 94 shall be amended to add the following wording: “The state land cadastre is a unified state geoinformation system of documented data on natural, economic and legal regime, categories, quantitative and qualitative characteristics and economic assessment of land plots, location and size thereof, as well as their distribution among landowners, land users and lessees. The state land cadastre includes: (a) comprehensive information on state registration of rights to land plots; (b) quantitative and qualitative characteristics of land plots; (c) information on appraisal of soils; (d) economic assessment of land plots; (e) other information related to rational use and protection of land resources established by the legislation of Turkmenistan. The state land cadastre is intended for land information support of state authorities and local self-government bodies, other legal entities and also natural persons with a view of exercising state control over the rational use and protection of land resources, taking measures aimed at preserving and enhancing the soil fertility, establishing a reasonable payment for land and the procedure for its collection.
