Abstract

Where a breach of condition of the right of occupancy stated in column 2 of the Schedule to these Regulations has arisen, the Commissioner for Lands or an authorized officer, as defined in the Land Act, 1999 may impose a fine specified in column 3 of the said Schedule. Breach of conditions include: failure to keep the land in good state; failure to farm the land in accordance with practices of good husbandry; failure to use land in a sustainable manner, making o disposition without notification, carrying out unauthorized developments.
