Abstract

An amendment regarding the publication of a notice of the consent of the Cabinet to surrender of land. The Notice shall be in the form specified in the new Schedule IVA and will require any person claiming to be the legal successor to the surrendered land to lodge his or her claim in writing to the allotment or part thereof by the date specified in the notice, which shall not be less than 12 months from the date that the notice is first published. If no claim is lodged, the said allotment or part thereof will revert to the estate holder. Section 87 is amended accordingly. Schedule IV of the Principal Act is deleted and a new Schedule IV specifying survey fees, registration fees, transfer fees and other charges is inserted.
