Section 37 is further amended by adding a provision on suspension of sentence and its effects on loss of rights of inheritance. Sections 38 and 41 are further amended by repealing "conviction for an indictable offence" and replacing those words with "conviction of a criminal offence and sentenced to imprisonment for more than two years".
