The Board, shall, among other things: (a) promote and expedite the development of nuclear electricity in Kenya; (b) develop policies, and propose legislation necessary for the successful implementation of a nuclear power programme; and (c) identify, prepare and facilitate the implementation of a roadmap for a nuclear power programme. The Board may establish such committees as it may deem appropriate for the performance of its functions and delegate exercise of any of the powers or the performance of any of its functions or duties.
