It also defines functions and powers of the Authority, establishes a Coconut Nursery Committee, provides rules relative to the production of production and sale of coconut and coconut planting materials and provides for registration of nurseries, producers and traders. The Authority shall prescribe the manner of procuring of planting material by growers and the manner of dealing with planting material generally. The Order also requires producers and traders of coconut to dispose of organic waste in an environmentally acceptable manner.
