The present Law enters into force on 1 January 2014.
Abstract

The present Law implements the Federal Power Supply Act of 23 March 2007. The purpose of the present Law is to ensure a safe, economical and sustainable supply of electricity in the Canton Nidwalden. The text consists of 17 articles divided into 6 Parts as follows: General provisions (I); Network areas and network operations (II); Obligation of supply (III); Charges (IV); Penalties (V); Transitional and final provisions (VI).
