Abstract The present Law implements the Federal Inland Navigation Act of 3 October 1975. Article 1 lists provisions applicable to navigation on waters in the Canton Glarus. Article 2 establishes that the Governing Council is the competent authority for the conclusion of agreements relating to the regulation of navigation with other cantons. The text - consisting of 11 articles – deals with the following issues: limitation of navigation, fees, intercantonal waters, issue of further provisions, penalties, right of appeal, entry into force.
