The present Law enters into force on 1 July 1975.
Abstract

The purpose of the present Act is to maintain and improve the quality of water with a view to implement and complete the federal legislation on protection of waters. The text consists of 58 articles divided into 8 Parts as follows: General provisions, competences (I); Cleaning of effluent waste water (II); Compensation office (III); Protection of groundwater (IV); Contributions and fees (V); Contributions by the State (VI); Final provisions (VII).
