"Archipelagic waters" "continental shelf”, "EEZ", "historic waters", "internal waters", "maritime zone" and "territorial sea" have the same meaning as in the Maritime Zones Act 2005. The Act also contains general provisions applicable to all enactments of Mauritius and establishes general rules of interpretation and the making and repeal of laws.
