Abstract

These Regulations set out forms and fees for permits for purposes of the International Trade (Fauna and Flora) Act. The forms set out in the Schedules to these Regulations are: form of application for a permit; form of export permit granted in accordance with the provisions of sections 4, 8 or 12 of the Act; form of import permit granted in accordance with the provisions of sections 5, 9 or 13 of the Act; form of a re-export permit granted under the provisions of sections 6 or 10 of the Act; and form of a certificate issued under the provisions of section 11(1) of the Act. Section 11 requires a certificate to be issued for introduction from the sea of Appendix II specimen, i.e. a species included in Appendix II to the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora.
