Abstract This Inter-Ministerial Regulation, consisting of 6 articles, prohibits the Mangrove Crab catching (transport, exploitation, processing and trade) of any species of the Ucides cordatus within the States of: Pará, Maranhão, Piauí, Ceará, Rio Grande do Norte, Paraíba, Pernambuco, Alagoas, Sergipe and Bahia, during the period January-March.
