Abstract This Instruction consisting of 5 articles aims at organizing the management of hazardous wastes, either by those who produce them, transport or treat them. Following the main ones. The producers have to: determine the types of waste, collect and storage them to be processed; obtain the environmental approvals; keep both paper and electronic records on the quantities and types of waste; keep a copy of the results of laboratory analysis of the waste; have transport documents if needed; follow the instructions for storage; set a contingency plan; and clean up empty containers after use (art.2).
