Abstract

The present Ordinance implements the Directive of the European Parliament and of the Council 2006/87/EC of 12 December 2006 laying down technical requirements for inland waterway vessels. The Ordinance lays down provisions relating to the safety of inland waterway vessels. Article 1 deals with the technical requirements to be met by vessels.The text consists of 20 articles divided into 4 chapters as follows: General provisions (1); Proceedings (2); Implementation (3); Transitional and final provisions (4).
