Imported food may be examined by an authorized officer. Where the authorized officer suspects that food is unfit for human consumption, a detention notice shall be served on the importer prohibiting the removal of the food. Food unfit for human consumption shall be subject of a notice of the Minister requiring the exportation or disposal of such food. Appeal to the Royal Court may be lodged against such notice.
