Abstract

This Order, for purposes of articles 3 and 13 and Part 4 of the Diseases of Animals (Jersey) Law 1956, in so far as they are applicable to the making, administration and enforcement of this Order, extends the definition of “disease” in article 1(3) of the Law so as to include African horse sickness. The Order also prohibits the importation of equine animals from specified countries.
