The present Ordinance enters into force on 1 April 1985.
Abstract

The present Ordinance implements the Federal Animal Protection Act of 19 February 1985. Article 1 establishes the specific field of activity of the various entities dealing with the subject matter. The text consists of 16 articles as follows: Organs (I); Health Office (II); Veterinary Office (III); Fishery and Hunting Office (IV); Agricultural Office (V); Building Office (VI); Local authorities (VII); Meat inspectors (VIII); Commission for animal experiments (IX); Chief Veterinary (X); Cooperation (XI); Duty to collaborate (XII); Fees (XIII); Dispute settlement (XIV); Penalties (XV); Entry into force (XVI). One Annex is enclosed.
