Abstract The Government of Nepal, having exercised the power conferred by Section 2 of the Immovable Property Requisition Act, 2013 (1956) has enacted the following Immovable Property Requisition Rules, 2016 (1960). The Nepal Law Interpretation Act, 1953 shall be applied for the interpretation of these Rules. The delivery in the following way or the written information to be issued to the owner or any person possessing the property in any way under Section 3 of the Act in addition to the delivery of the same to the owner or possessor himself as follows: (a) Delivery to the treasury of the owner or possessor in case of being such treasury, or (b) Delivery to the matured person of joint family of the owner or possessor, or (c) Pinning up in a visible please of the concerned house and land and signing a document of Sarjamin (public inquiry) thereof by at least 2 person. Written information to be issued under Section 4 of the Act shall be delivered under rule 3.
