Abstract

This Hunting Regulation, consisting of 13 Chapters and 1 Annex, specifies the requirements to be met in order to perform hunting activity within the territory under Angolan jurisdiction. It lays down terms and conditions to be satisfied by hunters in order to perform such activity and specifies in the Annex maximum animal species to be hunted according to different hunting licence. Sanctions and penalties will be regulated by article 4 of Legislative Order No. 107/72. This Regulation is divided as follows: Hunting and hunters definition (Chap. I); Permitted hunting areas (Chap. II); Protected areas (Chap. III); Hunting methods and period (Chap. IV); Hunters' and land owners' rights (Chap. V); Licensing (Chap. VI); Hunting trophies (Chap. VII); Sanctions, Penalties and administrative procedures (Chap. X-XIII).
