Abstract

This Act prescribes that an export duty shall be paid to the commissioner of customs and excise at the time and place of export in respect of every hide, skin or game hide exported from Uganda. It requires also export to take place only by rail from appointed exporting centers. Exports hides, skins or game hides shall be reported monthly in the form of return to the regional commissioner of customs and excise at Kampala.
