Spawning areas are all those waters contained within a line joining the following points and the UK coast: Butt of Lewis to Cape Wrath; north to 58° 55' N 5° W; west to 58° 55' N 7° 10' W; south west to 58° 20' N 8° 20' W; south to 57° 40' N 8° 20' W; east to Hebrides.
