Abstract

These Regulations of the Governing Council of the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) make provision with respect to the placing on the market of herbal medicines and related products. No person shall manufacture, import, export, distribute, advertise or sell any complementary and alternative medicine unless it is labelled in accordance with the provision of these Regulations. The brand name, botanical or common name, if any, shall be qualified as herbal, homeopathic, animal or mineral medicinal product and or a mixture thereof.
