Russell National School Lunch Act (42 U.S.C. 1751-1769j), the Child Nutrition Act of 1966 (42 U.S.C. 1771 et seq.), and the Food and Nutrition Act of 2008 (7 U.S.C. 2011 et seq.). Among others, this act provides for a path to end childhood hunger, the National School Lunch Program, the Summer Food Service Program, the Child and Adult Care Food Program, the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children, reducing childhood obesity and improving the diets of children, and improving the management and integrity of child nutrition programs.
