Abstract

These Regulations make rules for the labelling, packaging, transportation, storage and sale of substances which consist of or contain a hazardous substance declared to be a group II hazardous substance in terms of Hazardous Substances and Articles Act. They shall not apply veterinary medicines that are suitable to be used for the prevention and control of ectoparasites but apply to certain pesticides. The Regulations make provision for the granting of supplier licences and premises licences, require persons licensed to supply group II hazardous substances to keep a register, define offences and prescribe penalties for such offences.
