Abstract The present Ordinance implements the Hamburg Climate Protection Law of 25 June 1997 (HmbGVBl. p. 261). The Ordinance is applicable to all buildings in the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg subject to the Federal Energy Savings Ordinance of 24 July 2007 (BGBl. I p. 1519). High thermal insulation technology shall contribute to residential energy saving.
