Abstract

The document gives specific guidelines for the implementation of Order No. 866, which are accessible on the Danish Veterinary and Food Administration’s webpage. The guidelines consist on preventing the monitoring of Salmonella Dublin in cattle, on slaughter of Salmonella in fresh meat, on detection of critical resistant strains of salmonella, on the requirement of lab testing and reporting on findings thereof, as well as veterinarian responsibility for managing salmonellosis in herds. The guidelines also describe and inform of requirements/restrictions on farms in Denmark.
