Subject to subsections (2), (3) and (4), for the purposes of the definition of “facility” in subsection 1 (1), any one of the following constitutes a facility: 1) All of the following that are operated in an integrated manner to carry out a specified GHG Activity and that have at least one common owner or operator: Sites at which a specified GHG activity is carried out and the buildings, equipment, and other structures and stationary items located on those sites; Any other sites used in conjunction with the specified GHG activity, including a quarry, tailings pond, wastewater lagoon or pond and landfill. 2) The portion of a natural gas pipeline system within Ontario, including associated installations and equipment that is used in natural gas transmission.
