Abstract

These Regulations prohibit fishing for, transhipment or having on board of greater silver smelt by Irish sea-fishing boats in International Council for the Exploration of the Sea (ICES) sub-areas III and IV with effect from 1 February 2005. The Regulations also provide for prima facie evidence in a prosecution for an offence against these Regulations.
