Abstract

This Regulation, based on the provisions of Section 61 (9) of the Fishing Act, establishes the requirements for submitting data related to fishing for a person catching fish or collecting aquatic plants on the basis of a fishing permit of a fishing vessel, a fisherman's fishing permit, a buyer or a carrier of fishery products. The Regulation provides for: the identification of the Agriculture and Food Board, or in some cases of the Environment Board, as the data recipient responsible authority; the identification of the data provider; proof of origin of fish and aquatic plants; methods of submitting data. Chapter 2 of the Regulation concerns general requirements for submitting data on a paper document, including: issuance of the fishing logbook, the book of transfer declarations and the book of first purchase receipts; landing declaration, transfer declaration, transport document; obligation to carry a fishing log when fishing. Chapter 3 concerns general requirements for electronic submission of data, including: method of electronic submission; submission of data in case of technical failure; granting and revocation of user rights.
