This Governmental Decree enters into force on 1 January 2021.
Abstract

This Regulation determines the procedure for licensing geodetic and cartographic activity (except for the specified types of activities carried out by the personnel of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in order to ensure the defense of the Russian Federation, as well as in the implementation of urban planning and cadastral activities, subsoil use), as a result of which the creation (update) of state topographic maps or state topographic plans, state geodetic networks, state leveling networks and state gravimetric networks, geodetic networks for special purposes, including networks for differential geodetic stations, determining the parameters of the figure of the Earth and the gravitational field for these purposes, the establishment, change and clarification of the passage of the state border of the Russian Federation, establishment and change of borders between the subjects of the Russian Federation and boundaries of municipalities, as well as the procedure for organizing and implementing licensing control in the specified field of activity. Licensing of geodetic and cartographic activities shall be performed by the Federal State Registration Service, Cadastre and Cartography, and its territorial bodies.
