Abstract

This Regulation of the Cabinet, made under section 16 of the Water Act, provides rules for the placement of water, sewer or power lines or telecommunications cables or any other lines with purpose and effect under a river or stream. It sets out the content of a notification to the supervisory authority. The cables or lines must, among other things, not cause permanent inconvenience to fishing. The project manager must submit one within 30 days of completion of the project notification of completion to the Business, Traffic and environmental Agency. The notification should contain indication of the final location of the pipeline in the water area at which the cable is located and how it was marked.
