Abstract The Government Ordinance, which is composed of 32 articles and eight Annexes, establishes measures to monitor substances in live animals and residues as specified in Annex 2. The production process of animal breeding and primary animal products must be monitored as specified in articles from 4 to 8 for the purpose of verifying the existence of residues and substances specified in Annex 2 in live animals, their excrements and body liquids and tissues, as well as in animal products, foodstuffs and feed water.
